Hi! I’m Addie Robbins, yoga instructor at Pilates Revolution. I came to love yoga after I saw the benefits of adding it to my long distance running training. Early in my training, I had multiple injuries and was feeling discouraged. Yoga enabled me to eliminate those injuries and prevent additional issues! I love that yoga allows everyone to practice according to their own level and abilities. It is more than a discipline for physical healing and building strength. It allows you to connect body and spirit through breathing and meditation. Yoga has helped me learn to live more purposefully, be content, appreciate the present moment, and have gratitude in all things.
I am certified in Ashtanga yoga and also teach and practice Hatha style yoga. I still love to run and have participated in three marathons, including Boston this past year, five half marathons, and I am currently training for another marathon and a 50k ultra this fall. I am passionate about nutrition and have a plant food based recipe blog, addiespantry.com. I love being outdoors, hiking, hitting the beach, and traveling. I am also an artist and photographer. I have three amazing daughters who love to practice yoga as well, especially... when we do headstands! See you at the studio!
